Join Teresa Coenen as she introduces her faith-based pattern. tHIS Love is a throw quilt with 12 blocks that reference twelve different Bible verses that share God's love for us. We began the quilt in October 2018, with one block each month, to conclude in September 2019.

Here is an image of the quilt design -- with Month 1-4 blocks placed in no particular order. Please note that you will have opportunities to repeat some of your favorite blocks, but PLEASE do no construct the blocks until directed to do so.
The finished quilt will measure 76"x97" and will include five 19-1/2" (finished) blocks and seven 9" (finished) blocks.
The patterns will be offered FREE to Stitchin' Tree email customers and Facebook followers who are actively participating in the Quilt Along and sharing images of their finished blocks. See details on How To Participate in a Stitchin' Tree Quilt Along.
It is hard to tell you how much of your block yardage should be lights, mediums, or dark values. It truly depends on the border fabric you will choose. If you look at the fabrics that we've chosen for our sample quilts (see bundle pics), you can see how I collected fabrics that will look good with my border print. On the batik quilt, the fabrics all have a similar value, and pull from the colors in the larger scale border print. On the neutral Songbook fabric, you'll note that most of the fabrics I've collected for the blocks are light and neutral. I don't want my blocks to overpower my soft, neutral border print. Hope this little tip helps.
