Gift of Comfort

Each year, Stitchin' Tree Quilts sponsors Quilting Angels, an effort to provide quilts to homeless mothers and children who seek safety in the shelters of Heartland Family Services and other houses of refuge in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.  We also distribute quilts and sleeping mats to children's services in several third-world countries.

In 2021 we provided over 200 individuals with a gift of comfort.  In addition to the store samples we donate to the shelter, we use donated fabric for quilt tops and backing. 

Your $5 donation will go a long way in providing batting for these gifted quilts.
