Two New Quilting Cruises in 2024

Having recently returned from my quilt cruise to Alaska, I'd like to introduce you to two new quilt cruise opportunities for 2024.

Quilting Through the Panama Canal
April 7-28, 2024

We will be traveling on Norwegian Cruise Line, departing from Miami, visiting Cartagena (Columbia), Panama Canal, Panama City, Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala), Acapulco (Mexico), Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), Los Angeles, San Francisco, Victoria (Canada), and returning to Seattle.

This quilt cruise is being offered by our friends Renee & Carlos with Cruise Planners.
A  variety of staterooms are available at very affordable prices.  Take advantage of Norwegian's cruise that moves their ship from Caribbean cruises in the winter to Alaskan cruises in the summer!

We are limited to 30 quilters, so book your trip today!

During our days at sea, the sewing room will be open and available to all quilters.  Quilters have no "required" hours in the sewing room, so you can plan your cruise together with your spouse/roommate.
There are many shows, classes, and other amenities on board, and you may want to participate in activities outside the sewing room.

Three quilting options on this trip:

1.  Mola Go-Go, choice of red, blue, or green.

2. Flossy Flamingo

3. Open Sew

With 9 days at sea, there will be plenty of time to finish one or more projects.

Holy Land Nativity Cruise

December 14-21, 2024

Not your typical quilting cruise, this project requires NO SEWING!  "The Reason" is a pre-cut fusible applique wall hanging.

We will be traveling on a new ship, the Celestyal Journey (capacity 1200), departing from Athens, visiting Port Said (Egypt), Ashdod (Israel), Limassol (Cyprus), Rhodes (Greek Island), Khusadasi (Greece, and returning to Athens.  An optional 3-day excursion can be planned for the front end of your trip.

In addition to the kit, mini irons and wool pressing mats will be provided and are yours to keep following the cruise.

Finish your wall hanging when you return home.
You can quilt it, thread sketch, hand stitch or leave it as a fused art quilt.

Come with your friends, come with your family.  Both cruises have amazingly beautiful ports of call.
