Are you ready for Row 3 of the COVID Friends Quilt Along?

We began our quilt along on August 17, and are now ready to continue with Row 3.  The patterns include stories and a space for your personal reflection. On Monday, October 19, we will host a Zoom quilt along at 1:00 pm CST to include Block 7 Mask Up, Block 8 Oppression, Block 9 New Friends, Row 3 Alternate Online and Row 3 Alternate I Miss You. 

During the online Zoom session, I will also talk about fabric selection and construction of the setting pattern and introduce an alternate setting pattern for left-over blocks.

Quilt Along continues October 19

Always Remember...

The COVID-19 global pandemic has forever changed the face and heart of our EARTH.  Without discrimination, COVID has destroyed millions of lives and livelihoods.Quilters around the world have rushed into action to construct face masks, gowns, caps and other protective gear. At a time when we want to gather together, we are encouraged (and sometimes ordered) to stay apart.

One year from now, five years from now, one generation from now, how will you remember COVID?  What stories will you tell your children, grandchildren?
