Kid's Camp 2
Do you know of a youngin' (age 9-13) who would like to learn the basics of quilting? We are offering a Kids Camp August 1-2. Student's must bring a working machine (with an owner's manual). It's helpful if they have some sewing experience, but not necessary. During our 2 days of Kids Camp, students will learn the basics of cutting, piecing and quilting as they work on charity quilts for the homeless shelter. Fabric will be provided by Stitchin' Tree and Quilting Angels.
Grandmothers and mothers are welcome to attend all/part of the camp.
The cost is $10 to attend both days -- bring a lunch. 9:30am-4:00pm.
On Friday, August 2, the Union Pacific steam passenger train will be stopping in town at 3:20 pm. We'll plan to stop in time to see the train.
