Join Teresa on a Holy Land Nativity Cruise
December 14-21, 2024

Not your typical quilting cruise!
This holiday excursion features a fusible applique project and is open
to anyone with an artistic flair!  No sewing required!!

We will be traveling on a new ship, the Celestyal Journey (capacity 1200), departing from Athens, visiting Port Said (Egypt), Ashdod (Israel), Limassol (Cyprus), Rhodes (Greek Island), Khusadasi (Greece), and returning to Athens. An optional 3-day Athens excursion can be planned for the front end of your trip (contact Carlos & Renee for more information.

Enjoy extraordinary religious and culture-infused excursions in each of the ports of call.

This quilt cruise is being offered by our friends Renee & Carlos with Cruise Planners.
This is a new ship, with a variety of cabins available.
Discounts are available for those who book by November, 2023.

We are limited to 40 quilters, so book your trip today!

During our only full day at sea, the project room will be open and available to all.  The wall hanging is constructed using a fusible applique method -- no sewing required.  Quilters have no "required" hours in the project room, so you can plan your cruise together with your spouse/roommate. Teresa will be available in the project room from 7am-9pm, providing ample time to complete the project.

"The Reason"

Designed specifically for this cruise, The Reason is a 40"x40" wall hanging constructed using a fusible applique method.

All pieces are laser cut and fused, making the project easy to complete during our project day at sea.

In addition to the kit, mini irons and wool pressing mats will be provided and are yours to keep following the cruise.

Finish your wall hanging when you return home.
You can quilt it, thread sketch, hand stitch or leave it as a fused art quilt.

Your cruise class fee of $205 includes the pre-cut kit, background, backing, and binding fabric.  The fee also includes a mini-iron and pressing mat, which you can easily pack in your suitcase for your return trip home.
